Placemaking is about creating spaces that bring people together, spark local businesses, and contribute to a thriving and fun community. It’s about turning streets, parks, and gathering places into lively, welcoming areas where people want to visit. It’s about turning spaces into areas where people can connect and participate in the community.
Who can apply?
ANYONE! If the idea is to be implemented within the Warrnambool LGA, it does not matter who you are - business owner, resident, community or sporting group etc – anyone can put forward an idea!
Ideas should be community-driven and designed to benefit the wider public, not for personal or commercial profit.

The winning idea will receive up to a maximum of $2,500 in funding, subject to the scale and budget of the proposed project.
