Council is currently seeking a motivated Supervisor Open Space Maintenance to join their highly regarded depot team, the successful candidate will:

 

  • To support the Team Leader Parks Gardens and Environment to achieve on ground maintenance works in the City’s Open Space Areas.
  • Provide competent daily supervision and direction of the outdoor staff/contractors in the execution of the works program, relating to; grass cutting, sports fields, weed control, path and edge curbing, brush cutting and associated general maintenance.
  • Ensure the use of safe work practices by the outdoor staff in execution of duties at all times and to ensure contractors, their agents, and staff comply with OH&S and Equal Opportunity legislation.

 

The Benefits
This is a permanent full time position.
The current salary is $68,583 per annum (inclusive of industry allowance) excluding superannuation, with the opportunity to progress through Councils banding levels.
