An exciting opportunity exists for candidates that are passionate in supporting the needs and independence of older persons, frail aged and people with disabilities. The Community Programs Activity Officer will contribute to the planning, development and implementation of programs and activities designed to maintain and enhance the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of participants.

 

As part of the Social Support Services Team at Warrnambool City Council the successful applicant will possess the following:

 

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Community Services or equivalent; 
  • Experience in facilitating group activities and programs; 
  • Excellent communication skills; and an 
  • Ability to connect with older people, people with disabilities, and their carers. 

 

The Benefits
This is a casual position with an hourly rate of $43.82 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) plus superannuation.
