About the Role
Reporting to the Coordinator Engineering Design, you will contribute to the planning and design of a diverse range of civil infrastructure projects and provide technical expertise and support project delivery from concept through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing civil engineering designs and technical documentation.
- Developing specifications, cost estimates.
- Assist with feature survey.
- Preparing reports, project plans and project schedules.
- Providing technical advice and support across Council.
- Liaising with contractors, consultants, service authorities and community members.
- Supporting the successful delivery of projects within agreed timeframes, budgets and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
You are proactive, solutions-focused and enjoy delivering practical outcomes.
Depending on your background and experience, you may bring:
- Experience in civil engineering, design, drafting, surveying or project delivery.
- Qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of road, drainage and pavement design principles.
- Experience with engineering design software such as AutoCAD or equivalent.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to delivering quality outcomes for the community.
