Is 2023 the year you make your innovative business idea a reality? Expressions of interest to join the 2023 Ideas Place program are now open.
The winner of the inaugural program in 2019, Jarrod Pickford, said the Ideas Place was crucial to the success of his podcast audio tour business, Storytowns.
“The Ideas Place is a brilliant idea, Storytowns would not exist without it,” he said.
“The support and knowledge I gained from attending the classes was a vital part to launching Storytowns.
“If anyone has a start-up idea, or you want to expand your business nationally, I would strongly advise you to participate in the program.
“You will not only learn about launching and growing your own business, but you will also make new friends and acquaintances who will be a vital and fun part of your growth.”
Since 2020 Storytowns has grown nationally with multiple staff and 500 podcast audio guides throughout Australia, with 2023 shaping up to be another big year.
“This year is already full steam ahead as we'll be partnering with international events and a public transport company in Melbourne - you'll see!” Mr Pickford said.
“We also have our eyes set on expanding internationally, so pitching to investors is on the cards in 2023.”
The Ideas Place program begins in March and includes a series of masterclasses, seminars and events with industry experts who will help you get your innovative business or product market-ready.
