A message from the Mayor Cr Vicki Jellie

On behalf of Warrnambool City Council I wish to acknowledge the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.

Our municipal flags are flying at half mast as a mark of respect for

Queen Elizabeth II, who gave a lifetime of service to the Commonwealth and was a regular visitor to Australia.

Her visits to the South West in 1954 and 1970 were well received and over the decades she was a calm and reassuring presence for many.

Our condolences to the Royal Family.

For those who wish to send a message to the Royal Family, the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet has established an online condolence form available at the link below.
