Multi-purpose court for Lake Pertobe

Council will begin planning a multi-purpose court to be built at Lake Pertobe.

It is proposed that the court will be built in an accessible space near the tennis courts, BMX track and cricket pitch.

The multi-purpose court was a project identified in the Lake Pertobe Master Plan.

The court proposed has the potential to allow a range of activities including pickleball, half-court basetketball, netball, four square, ladder runs and hopscotch.

It will encourage more people to be more active outdoors and that’s important for the health and wellbeing of Warrnambool residents.

Lake Pertobe is enormously popular with visitors to Warrnambool and the court will enhance the reputation of Lake Pertobe as a wonderful asset and visitor drawcard.

The cost of the project will be covered through Council’s Small Infrastructure Fund.
