The business community is invited to join Warrnambool Mayor Ben Blain to re-cap 2023 from an economic perspective while looking ahead to what 2024 might have in store.

The Mayor’s Business Breakfast and City Briefing will be held in the Lighthouse Theatre foyer on Thursday November 23 from 7.30am until 8.45am.

“As a business operator, it’s so important to be able to catch up with the rest of the business community from time to time,” Warrnambool Mayor Ben Blain said.

“As well as being a chance to learn from others, having a chat and networking in-person was one of the big things we all missed during COVID, so it’s really good to be able to get together again.

“From a business perspective, there’s just so much global uncertainty and things happening at a macro level which are having an impact in Warrnambool, whether it’s labour shortages, access to housing or the rising cost of materials.

“We understand this at Council, these things all impact us as well, and we will continue to work with the local business community however we can.

“At the event we will also be discussing the findings of the recent survey to gauge interest in the establishment of a Business Representative Group in Warrnambool.”

A light breakfast plus tea and coffee will be provided.

This is a free event but please RSVP.
