Warrnambool residents are being urged to have a say on the 2026-2027 Council Budget.
“We’re starting our engagement with the community on the next Budget and we want to know what the community’s priorities are,” Warrnambool Mayor Cr Ben Blain said.
“We’re guided to a large extent by our four-year Council Plan but advice from the community on the services and programs that are highly important and valued can help us refine our priorities and actions.
“We’re providing a range of methods for people to provide input including an online or print survey and listening posts.
“You can have your say at www.yoursaywarrmambool.com.au or drop in for a chat at a Council listening post.
“You can also call Council on 5559 4800 and we can send out a printed survey.
“We’ll have five listening posts at locations across the municipality so if you can, please head long and let us know in person what’s going to be important for you as we develop the budget for 2026-2027.
“Once we’ve heard from the community, we’ll start to put together a draft budget and there will be an opportunity for the community to provide feedback on this draft next year.”
