Sections of footpath along Lava and Kepler streets will be renewed over August and September.
The south side of Lava Street between Liebig and Fairy streets will be renewed along with the footpath on both sides of Kepler Street between Raglan Parade and Lava Street.
Work will begin on Monday, August 5.
Footpath fencing and pedestrian detours will be in place.
Road speed reductions will also be introduced while the work is under way and minor delays may be experienced while trucks enter and exit work sites.
Access to businesses will be available during standard business hours with the exception of brief periods while asphalting is under way.
