Later this month more than 560km of concrete and sealed paths within the Warrnambool municipality will be surveyed.
The survey will help Council prioritise renewal and maintenance efforts.

Infrastructure Management Group (IMG) has been appointed to undertake the survey and IMG all-terrain vehicles will be out and about from October 30 taking video footage of footpaths.

The clearly marked vehicles will travel at a brisk walking pace and will have their hazards lights on.

The vehicle operators will accommodate the needs of pedestrians wherever possible but we thank you for your patience while this process is under way.

The cameras are focused on the footpath with limited viewing of areas immediately adjacent. No images of commercial, residential or other private property or structures will be taken.

It is anticipated the survey will be completed by mid-November.
