The Fairfax Avenue playground is located at Davidson Oval in West Warrnambool, near 26 Fairfax Avenue.
It has several swings, including a bird’s-nest swing and a toddler seat. The central play structure includes a slide, steps, a crawl-through opening and activity panels, with a spinning platform and low stepping logs elsewhere in the play area.
The playground is fully fenced and has seating, including a picnic table. Soft-fall bark covers most of the site, with rubber surfaces beneath the swings and around the main equipment.
It also features a mural created by young local artist Chelsea Crawley-Walsh and Winchelsea artist Lauren Green.
The playground was renewed in 2024–2025.
