Warrnambool City Council has endorsed the release of the Draft Bushfield-Woodford Strategic Framework Plan for public comment.
The Strategic Framework Plan aims to provide a long term vision and framework to guide land use and development and
manage the future growth of the settlements to a planning horizon of up to 20 years.
Following this round of community consultation a final draft of the plan will be presented to Council for adoption.
After the plan has been adopted, an implementation strategy detailing further studies required will also be presented to Council.
Development of the Strategic Framework Plan was funded through a $100,000 grant provided by the Victorian Planning Authority.
