The Department of Transport will install a traffic survey camera along Caramut Road near the intersection with Fotheringham Street.
The camera is one of several installed by the department across the state to survey traffic and pedestrian movements and identify any road safety issues.
The new survey technology detects objects and movement without capturing the identity of pedestrians and vehicles.
It will operate from early September for several weeks.
