Are you ready for a role that combines your expertise in building infrastructure with the opportunity to make a real impact? The Facilities Officer position offers an exciting and dynamic work environment, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining and renewing Council’s building assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the upkeep of Council’s building infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with internal teams from various Council services and work closely with local contractors.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination of projects and maintenance tasks.
What We’re Looking For:
- A solid background in building infrastructure management and maintenance.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders, contractors, and team members.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving and project management.
The Benefits
This is a permanent full time position, with a monthly RDO.
The current starting salary is $73,730.04 per annum + superannuation, with the opportunity to progress through Councils banding levels.
