Warrnambool City Council is seeking an organised and customer focused Administration Officer Events & Promotions to support the delivery of Warrnambool's vibrant annual events program.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide administrative and customer service support to the Events & Promotions Unit, event organisers and stakeholders
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, grant documentation and event records
  • Assist with event delivery, contractor coordination and event logistics
  • Support event promotion through social media, newsletters, website content and marketing campaigns
  • Assist with maintaining event databases, calendars and reporting requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and business systems
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Event management experience is desirable but not essential

The Benefits
This is a temporary part time position working 0.63 FTE. (48 hours per fortnight) until 28 August 2027 (Must be available to work Monday & Friday). The current salary is $78,981.46 per annum (pro-rata) exclud. Superannuation.
