Warrnambool City Council’s Early Learning Centre currently has a vacancy for a Diploma Qualified Educator.
The successful applicant will need to be passionate about providing high quality education and care to children and support the whole team to deliver the program in a safe and stimulating environment.
The successful applicant will have:
- An understanding of current research and practice for learning and development in the early years.
- Assist in providing a play based educational program that supports children’s learning & development.
- Knowledge of VEYLDF, NQS and Child Safe Standards
- The ability to work as a positive and collaborative team member and willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
- Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training) or willingness to obtain.
Please note that you may be required to work from or relocate to any Council work site within the Council area depending on operational requirements.
Hours & Salary
The position is a Temporary Part Time position until 23 September 2025, working a minimum of 55 hours per fortnight.
The position carries a current base salary of $68,538 per annum (pro-rata) excluding superannuation.
