Following the huge success of the inaugural AFLW game in Warrnambool in 2022, Reid Oval has once again been chosen to host a fixture in 2023. Essendon will take on Geelong on Sunday October 8 in Round 6 of the AFLW.
Over 4500 people attended last year, and we're expecting another big crowd this year, so arrive early to make sure you don't miss any of the action.
Where can I park?
Public parking will be set up on the grassed areas near Walter Oval (enter via Coulstock Street) and Mack Oval (enter via Grafton Road). Then follow the footpath through to the Reid Oval entrance near Coulstock Street.
Limited disabled parking is available in the Cramer Street carpark. A drop-off zone will also operate in the Cramer Street carpark.
The remainder of the Cramer Street carpark is reserved for AFL game day operations.
When do gates open and when does the game start?
Gates open at 11am with the first bounce at 1.05pm.
There’s plenty to do ahead of the game. There’s a Kids Zone with footy colours face painting, giant games, handball target and you can design your own footy jumper.
How do I get tickets?
Adult tickets are $10 with children (under 18s) free. We strongly recommend that you secure your tickets to the game beforehand (including registering 18s for their free ticket) to avoid delays on the day.
Tickets are also available for purchase at the Cramer Street entrance only.
