After three years of disruptions due to COVID-19, the Warrnambool RSL’s traditional Anzac Day services resume for 2023.
The march will commence at 10.45am, with participants travelling from Lava Street down Liebig Street to the Warrnambool War Memorial for a service at 11am.
The highlight of this year’s march will be the inclusion of a number of restored military vehicles from the Military Vehicles Restoration Club, Ballarat.
There will be a dawn service at 5.45am with a focus on returning to the tradition of dawn services and the sacrifices made by the Anzacs at Gallipoli - with a twist. The RSL recommends you bring a torch!
The RSL is also returning to the tradition of the Anzac morning breakfast: a gold coin donation with Veterans dining for free.
