Celebrate the winter solstice in Warrnambool with two big nights of neon-themed fun!

The award winning Solstice Searching event returns on the evening of Friday June 17.

This city-wide scavenger hunt will see you following the clues to discover amazing new neon sculptures hidden in some of Warrnambool’s most scenic locations.

Then on Saturday June 18, the fun continues with Solstice Search Party at the Warrnambool Botanic Gardens from 4pm-10pm.

You can see all of the incredible neon-sculptures from the previous night in one place, as well other light-themed art installations and activations from some of Warrnambool’s most talented creatives.

Take a sneak peek into the enchanted realm of the Faerie Grotto, explore the Nurture in Nature Storybook Trail by lantern light and immerse your senses in the Botanical Light and Magic experience by One Day Studios.

You'll also be treated to an amazing musical line-up, including Melbourne artist D’Arcy Spiller and local legends Tom Richardson and Willnko. There'll also be plenty of your favourite comfort foods and drinks to warm you up!

This is an all ages free event presented by the Warrnambool City Council.

We recommend pre-registering for your free tickets to Solstice Search Party to save you time on the night.
