Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you were unsure of how to responsibly dispose of an item?
The 2017 Warrnambool Recycling and Disposal Services Directory may have the answer.
The directory lists dozens of items along with local businesses that accept them, whether any fees apply and how the item is recycled (if possible).
The directory is updated annually during National Recycling Week.
“While most people are accustomed to recycling everyday items, people can be unsure when it comes to things which they encounter less often,” said Waste Management and Minimisation Officer Kate McInnes.
“The directory covers most materials not able to be recycled through the kerbside system but still able to be recycled and kept out of landfill.”
