Western District Employment Agency (WDEA) case manager Ben Clegg has been named the overall winner of the 2015 Warrnambool Customer Service Awards.
Mr Clegg was selected from eight finalists for the award, with judges commending Ben for outstanding care and commitment to his clients and his efforts to ensure they were provided with the best opportunities available.
Runner-up was new home consultant at Bryan and Petersen, Kelly Mitchell. Judges noted that Kelly displayed a consistent care and commitment to her clients and was willing to often go above and beyond in the service that she offers.
The awards are organised by the Economic Development Unit at Warrnambool City Council and sponsored by South West TAFE.
Also announced on Wednesday night was the winner of the 2015 Warrnambool Volunteer of the Year, which went to a familiar face at the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village, Ron Sproston.
Dr Sproston began volunteering at Flagstaff Hill in the 1970s and continues to volunteer at weekends.
