Warrnambool City Council grants of up to $3000 are available for clubs and organisations to create new programs or events, to purchase essential equipment or to help the environment.
Warrnambool clubs are invited to apply for a grant via the 2018/2019 Community Development Fund.
Categories include sport and recreation, cultural, events and environmental sustainability.
Council will provide up to $2 for every $1 contributed by clubs, to a maximum of $3000.
Warrnambool Mayor Cr Robert Anderson said that in 2017 Council provided $70,919 to 36 clubs to make projects worth $190,242 possible.
“The diversity of clubs and organisations we have in Warrnambool is a real strength,” he said.
“Each year the Community Development Fund contributes to a range of worthy projects undertaken by the city’s clubs to help make Warrnambool a better place for everyone.”
