Looking for a fun physical challenge you can tackle with your friends?
Get to grips with a whaleboat or a St Ayles skiff at a free come and try day on Sunday October 15 near Proudfoots Boathouse.
If you enjoy it, you can sign up for the South West Regatta, which takes place on February 24 and 25.
You can also use the boats to have as many practice sessions as you like between now and the regatta.
Now daylight savings is back, imagine a sunny evening after work, rowing along the glistening Hopkins River with your friends, working together towards a common goal and exercising at the same time!
No rowing experience is necessary and all equipment is supplied.
The come and try day will run from 10am until 12.30pm.
