News Article Date:
Thursday, 2 April 2020

While COVID-19 is definitely front of mind for most people, it’s still very important that your children are up-to-date with their immunisations against other vaccine-preventable diseases.

Council has commenced taking bookings for the 2020 influenza vaccination program for children from 6 months up to five years of age.

Council’s immunisation clinics are still operating to provide children with access to immunisations as outlined in the National Immunisation Program Schedule.

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has released new requirements for immunisation clinics to follow to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, which Council is strictly following.

As per the DHHS recommendations, Council will be extending clinics to ensure we are meeting the requirements of social distancing.

The childhood immunisation clinics currently operating from 60 Fairy St are taking appointments for children up to five years of age.

To schedule an appointment time please call 5559 4855 between 8.15am and 5pm on business days. Please be mindful that due to COVID-19, our administration support team are currently working from a home environment so your patience and understanding at this unprecedented time is much appreciated.
