2018 Volunteer Expo – July 25

News Article Date:
Tuesday, 10 July 2018

Are you looking for a new club to get involved in? Or maybe you are part of an organisation looking for new volunteers or members? In either case, the 2018 Volunteer Expo is for you.

The event will be held at South West TAFE on Wednesday July 25 from 11am until 6pm.

Warrnambool City Council Volunteer Connect Coordinator Bernadette Northeast said that the expo allowed potential volunteers to chat with a range of organisations to help them find the best fit.

“For people looking to become more involved in the community, the 2018 Volunteer Expo is your one-stop shop,” she said.

“It’s the perfect place to speak with clubs and organisations about their roles in the community, the skills you will learn and the fantastic opportunities available to you.

“For organisations and clubs, this event will be the ultimate opportunity to promote all of the wonderful things you do to prospective volunteers and members in Warrnambool and Moyne.

“Volunteers do so much for our community, and this event is about matching individuals with organisations that suit their skills and interests.”

Volunteer and community groups qualify for a free site at the expo, but they need to register by July 16.
To do so, visit www.warrnambool.vic.gov.au/volunteer-expo-registration.

The event is free to attend.
