Live and Local is a project to get more live music into more places!
The series will run from September 9 to 18 and will include a string of live performances as well as professional development sessions – with the exact format to be driven largely by the EOI process.
Expressions of Interest are now open for musicians and venues looking to get involved in Live and Local Warrnambool – a 10 day celebration of live music.
We’re looking for musicians and businesses to express their interest to perform, or host a performance during the series. All performers will be paid for their performance, and there is no cost to businesses taking part!
Musicians: We are looking for solos, duo, trios, bands and anything in between! You just have to want to share your music with Warrnambool. Sign up below, giving us some details about yourselves, and your performance fee, and we will curate you to align with a business in the Warrnambool area. Musicians just need to sign up with the ‘Musician EOI Form’ below.
Businesses: We don’t want to create any burden, so if you’d like to host a performance, all you need to do is give us some basic details below on the ‘Business EOI Form’ and we’ll be in touch. There is no cost to you for hosting a performance, and no need for any infrastructure – this will all be provided by the program if required. We’re looking for any and all businesses – florists, hairdressers, clothing shops, nurseries, shops – anything! The performance can also be inside your business, or outside (pending appropriate location & weather conditions). We will curate an appropriate style of music to your business too – so don’t be worried about a Metal band playing in a book shop! You can also put your hand up to host multiple musicians across the series in September too.
If you want to take part, and have any queries, or are not sure – please give us a call.
