  • Tetrapaks (currently no recycling option for these in Australia but the industry & Tetrapak are working on it)

*Soft plastics including plastic bags and wrappers can either be put into your landfill bin or taken to participating supermarkets. For details visit  –

All food waste and food scraps go into your FOGO bin for composting.

 Application for a larger Landfill Bin

If your household is using the four-bin system correctly, and still struggling with space in your landfill (red) bin, you can now apply for a larger 240L landfill bin, for an additional charge of $99 per year. Please be advised, this bin will replace your current 140L landfill bin. Limit 1 240L landfill bin, per household.
