Recycling E-Waste has a cost associated with it to ensure that it occurs in an environmentally friendly manner. Dismantling E-Waste cannot be carried out by machines, it is an intricate and time consuming process.

Recycling E-Waste has the following benefits:

REDUCE the use of Natural Resources
The metals, glass and plastics used in electronic goods are mined from the earth’s naturally produced resources. Recycling metals, glass and plastics in electronic goods reduces the amount of water and energy that are used in the manufacturing process.

REDUCE pollution
Some electrical appliances contain toxic chemicals including barium, phosphor, lead and hexavalent chromium which if released into landfi lls could eventually leach into nearby waterways and the surrounding environment.

REDUCE clutter around your home
Some people keep electronic goods in the hope one day they’ll get them repaired or they are unsure where they can take them for correct disposal. If you take advantage of this new program, all of your unwanted electrical waste WILL be recycled instead of being disposed in local landfill.
