Warrnambool's community profile has now been updated with a new population forecast to 2036

Warrnambool’s community profile has been updated with all the most recent Census data (2011), along with a recently completed population forecast which projects the city’s population growth and change for the next twenty years

Warrnambool Community Profile enables you to analyse the population characteristics of the community (based on the 2011 ABS Census), understand how they have changed over time and how they compare to other areas. This data is now also available by gender.

Warrnambool Community Atlas This site presents key socio-demographic characteristics for the area as interactive maps. Based on data from the 2011 ABS Census each map provides the finest level of detail to help identify spatial patterns and trends in the area.

Warrnambool Population Forecasts outline the drivers of population change and forecasts how population, age structure and household types will change across the City over the period 2006 to 2036. The new forecast was completed in February 2014.

Our Health & Wellbeing - How are Warrnambool's residents faring?

Council’s Community Planning team has compiled a summary of health and wellbeing indicators for the City. The Great South Coast Health and Wellbeing Profile 2015 is a summary of the most current population health, demographic data and wellbeing indicators. (See files for download on this page).

Also available for download is a report on the Health and Wellbeing of Warrnambool's residents which was prepared in December 2012. This report identifies Council's role in health, what factors influence our health, and presents information on how the city's residents are faring in relation to the things that have an impact on our health.
