Position Description:

The Youth Engagement Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing innovative youth programs and strategies to engage, support, and empower the young people of Warrnambool.

The position requires a keen awareness of, and a strong desire to meet the needs of youth, including addressing the barriers to participation and engagement.

The Youth Engagement Coordinator is responsible for developing and delivering a Warrnambool Youth Strategy and Program Plan that incorporates a comprehensive community needs assessment that engages youth. This co-design process will inform the content and direction of the youth engagement team programming.
The role works closely with external stakeholders to strengthen resources and services that will promote and increase program engagement, social connectedness, creativity, leadership and improve health and wellness for young people.

 

The Benefits
This is a permanent full time position with a current base salary range between $83,626 - $90,815 per annum, dependant on demonstrated skills and experience + superannuation.
