Position Description:


The Early Years Learning & Development are currently seeking a passionate Engagement Officer to provide additional support to vulnerable families who have children transitioning in early years services or from Kindergarten into Primary School.


The position will work across a number of Council run services and be responsible for:


  • Providing direct support to children with the aim of increasing retention and providing pathway support whilst minimising barriers.
  • Ensure acceptable standards of quality in the delivery of services.
  • Maintain communication and effective working relationships with children, families, volunteers, staff and relevant community organisations.
  • Reporting on progress and maintain accurate data and records.
  • High level of organisation skills with an ability to prioritise tasks.


The Benefits
This is a permanent part time position working a minimum of 45 hours per fortnight. With a current base salary range between $83,626 - $90,815 per annum (pro-rata) dependant on demonstrated skills and experience + superannuation.
