Early Childhood Teacher   

Council is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to implement the delivery of programs while ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment.
 

The successful applicant will have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of working in a Kindergarten setting and an understanding of current research and practice for learning and development in the early years.
  • Provide a play based educational program that supports children’s learning & development.  
  • Working knowledge of VEYLDF, NQS and Child Safe Standards
  • The ability to work as a positive and collaborative team member and willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
  • Current VIT
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training).

 

This is a Temporary Part Time position until 20 December 2024, working Thursday and Friday (8 hours per day) totalling 32 hours per fortnight.

Salary will be in accordance with the Early Education Employees Agreement 2020.
