Position Description:

An exciting opportunity currently exists to join the WAG (Warrnambool Art Gallery) team in the permanent full time role of Curator, Exhibitions & Outreach. You will be responsible for the procurement, design, management and installation of various exhibition programs at WAG and beyond the Gallery, including traveling, solo, group and original curated shows.

 

Curator of Exhibitions & Outreach will liaise with artists, arts organisations, government partners and the wider community and be responsible for curatorial content (conceptual and aesthetic), condition reporting and installation of artworks.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have a qualification in Visual Arts, Curatorial Studies or equivalent. Your ability to promote communication, networking and coordination within the arts and cultural community and the wider community, will see you succeed in the role.

 

The Benefits
This is a permanent full time position, with a base salary range between $68,133 - $77,454 per annum, dependant on demonstrated skills and experience + superannuation.
