Position Description:

Warrnambool City Council is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Apprentice Motor Mechanic that has an appetite to learn and develop new skills.

Located at Council’s Depot, the incumbent will assist in the maintenance and servicing of Councils heavy, light and minor fleets assets.


To be successful in this position the candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to work in a team environment
  • Sound knowledge of OH&S requirements inclusive of but not limited to, safe operating procedures, safe work method statements and risk assessments. 
  • To complete all theoretical tasks and modules required through training programs.


This is a Fixed Term/ Temporary Full Time position (4 year apprenticeship).
