Supported Playgroup Facilitator

Council is currently seeking an experienced and effective facilitator to join the Child and Family Services team to deliver our highly regarded Supported Playgroup: Growing Stronger Families within the Warrnambool LGA.
 

Supported Playgroups use evidence-based strategies to help parents build their skills and confidence to promote their children’s wellbeing and learning.
The successful applicant will be required to:

  • Have excellent engagement and communication skills.
  • Work independently within the scope of the role and as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in either Early Childhood/ Education, Social Work/ Community Services or Child Psychology.

They will also be committed and passionate in providing developmentally appropriate play experiences for vulnerable families (with young children from 8 weeks to 5 years of age) that promote learning and positive experiences.

Salary Range:                       $66,469 to $75,790 p.a (pro-rata)
