Do the kids have a longer holiday break than you?

The Warrnambool City Council Vacation Care Program at the Warrnambool Stadium has you covered.

Running on weekdays from December 17 until January 29, the program provides quality care and recreational activities to primary school children aged 5-12.

The program is designed specifically to offer a flexible range of activities that are age appropriate and which encourage children to develop specific creative, developmental and movement skills.

Daily themes include Jungle Safari, Painting Bonanza, Music Madness, Game Set Match and Back to the ‘80s.

Warrnambool Stadium Service Manager Rod Sanderson said that the program was a safe and fun way for children to spend the summer holidays.

“We have a lot of great excursions planned this summer with trips to the beach and the pool as well as plenty of water play out at the Stadium,” Mr Sanderson said.

“The staff have done a great job to come up with 24 days’ worth of activities and programs designed to engage children and ensure everyone has a great time.

“Children can come for one day or all 24 and are guaranteed to have fun.

“As an approved childcare provider, the Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate are available for eligible families.”

The program operates from 8am until 6pm each day.
