Develop a project for Fun4Kids Festival

News Article Date:
Wednesday, 27 January 2016

Are you an artist with an exciting project idea? Then we want to hear from you!

Fun4Kids Festival is seeking artists and members of the creative industries to propose ideas to be commissioned for the 2017 event.

We are seeking ideas that support the Festival’s vision and are unique, inclusive and professional. Projects can be any medium but must be engaging and accessible.

Our vision is to provide the most innovative, high quality and creative entertainment program to the highest of international standards, that engages and challenges young minds using a combination of interactive and performance based experiences.

This is not a request for formal and detailed artistic concepts and budgets, though you should have a clear idea of the basic structure and outcome of your project. The artist selected will be asked to work directly with the Fun4Kids creative program manager to develop the concept and delivery of the project, reliant upon successful funding.

To set up a time for a conversation contact Rebecca Elmes, creative program manager Fun4Kids Festival, on 5559 4935 or relmes@warrnambool.vic.gov.au.

Meetings will take place between March 14-25, 2016 and you must make contact with Rebecca by Wednesday March 9.
