Warrnambool recycling guide updated

News Article Date:
Monday, 9 November 2015

Have you ever needed to dispose of a household item and asked yourself “can I recycle this?"

The Warrnambool City Council has just updated its Warrnambool Recycling & Disposal Services Directory as part of National Recycling Week.

Held annually in November, the week aims to educate the community about all of the recycling options available in the community and promote behaviour change.

Council’s recycling directory is a one-stop shop outlining all of the services available in Warrnambool where items that cannot be recycled through your kerbside collection, can be taken for recycling.

The options available for recycling in Warrnambool are extensive and the solutions are growing, such as the recent establishment of a permanent drop off site for paint, batteries and fluorescent lighting at Statewide Recycling.

For more information about recycling visit our What Can I Recycle page.
