Why sign up to be a partner?
Warrnambool is located on the Southern Ocean, at the mouth of the Merri and Hopkins Rivers. Whether it is watching whales, fishing, surfing, swimming or just taking in the view, life in Warrnambool revolves around the beach and rivers, it is where many 'Warrnamboolians' and tourists spend much of their recreational time. So why not help protect the areas we go to enjoy by joining other local businesses to part of Live Plastic Free to reduce single use plastic bags and bottles reaching our waterways.
How can my small business make a difference?
Council will lobby Government and other organisations to take action on plastic bags and plastic bottles. By banding together businesses will have a stronger voice to encourage other businesses into doing the right thing and stop giving away single use plastic bags. Be part of the what is believed to be an Australian first campaign to reduce single use plastic bags and plastic bottles.
