Warrnambool......get your heart racing!

The Warrnambool Racing Club is country Victoria’s leading racing club, playing host to 20 days of racing action throughout the year.

Horse racing holds a very special place in the hearts of Victoria’s and the Western District in particular, as the number of people in Warrnambool double during the world renowned Tabcorp May Racing Carnival. People flock in droves to Warrnambool to share in the excitement of the action and the social spectacle that this marvellous event creates.

The Warrnambool Racing Club’s origins at tis current Grafton Road site date back to 1858 and for over 150 years the thoroughbred and Warrnambool Racing Club have together provided all Victorians with a true spectacle – events that are celebrated and achievements that are revered.

Today racing is entering somewhat of a renaissance; with record breaking crowds making their way en masse to events hosted by the Warrnambool Racing Club to experience the popular new look of racing.
