The “Smart Living Workshop Series” has been developed to assist Warrnambool residents to reduce their environmental footprint, greenhouse gas emissions and unnecessary costs as a result of unsustainable living. The objects of the workshops are to build community capacity and knowledge on sustainable living.
Using a combination of theory and hands-on education the “Smart Living Workshop Series” will enable participants to build knowledge and practical skills to implementing sustainable actions in the home.

Make your own Recycled Christmas Cards
Every day we use something that is made from trees. One of the things we use most often is paper - and paper usage can increase dramatically over the Christmas. It only takes a second to use a napkin or a tissue, but decades for a tree to grow. Come along to this workshop and learning how to recycle used paper into new paper! Your Christmas cards will be the envy of the whole family!
When: Saturday 14 December 3.00 - 4.30pm
Where: Warrnambool Community Garden - corner of Grieve St and Grafton Rd
Provided: All materials and nibbles
