Warrnambool City Council has received a request to rezone land generally to the east of Gateway Plaza, within Lot A, Plan of Subdivision 505282X and Lot 1, Plan of Subdivision 5441768 from Residential 1 Zone to Business 1 Zone and to amend the schedule to the Business 1 Zone to facilitate an increase in floorspace for the entire shopping centre.
The Amendment is accompanied by a combined planning permit application to develop the land to facilitate an expansion of the Gateway Plaza shopping centre and associated car parking.
The Amendment was on formal exhibition between 7 June 2012 and 9 July 2012.
