Western District Forecast

Weather Situation
A slow-moving high pressure system is over the Tasman Sea. A weak low pressure
trough over Victoria will remain slow-moving before deepening over western
Victoria on Thursday and moving eastwards later on Thursday and early Friday. A
high pressure ridge will lie to the south of Tasmania on Saturday while a low
pressure trough will linger near northeastern Victoria.

Forecast for the rest of Wednesday
Partly cloudy. Patchy early morning fog. Isolated showers and thunderstorms
from midday. Heavy falls possible with thunderstorms. Winds light this morning
but tending southerly and averaging 15 to 25 km/h by mid afternoon.
Temperatures 28 to 34 during the day.
