Weather Situation A high pressure ridge will extend over Victoria on Monday while a weak cold front crosses Tasmania. The high pressure system will move across Victoria on Tuesday to eventually reach the Tasman Sea later on Wednesday ahead of a trough of low pressure later in the west on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday Partly cloudy. Isolated showers, mainly near the coast, clearing later in the day. Winds west to southwesterly averaging 25 to 35 km/h, reaching 40 km/h on the coast, tending westerly up to 25 km/h later in the evening. Temperatures around 18 to 20 degrees during the day.
