VRFish, the Victorian Recreational Fishing Peak Body, is committed to representing and advocating the interests of the Victorian recreational fishing community. To ensure this, VRFish will consult broadly with the recreational fishing community to represent the views of recreational fishers in an accurate and timely manner to Government and their agencies, as well as communicate effectively with the recreational fishers of Victoria.
The purpose of the Recreational Fishing Open House is to implement strategies and actions defined in Fishery Management Plans.
VRFish has been charged with the responsibility of implementing key elements of the fishery management plans, such as; maintain or improve fishing access, facilities & opportunities and promote protection of important fish habitats.
The Glenelg Hopkins Open House will assist by giving the recreational fishing community an opportunity to identify key projects for the Glenelg Hopkins Catchment.
VRFish is also keen to discuss fish stocking proposals for the Glenelg Hopkins Catchment, with the endeavour to introduce three-year programs with Fisheries Victoria. Fisheries Victoria will report on status of fish stocks and habitat management of the Glenelg Hopkins Catchment.

In the relaxed and intimate theatre atmosphere of “Have You Had It Long, Madam?” Hilary Kay and Paul Atterbury share their experiences and favourite stories from in front of the camera and behind the scenes. You will discover how the programme is made, hear about life on the Antiques Roadshow filming circuit and the often hilarious exploits of the experts and the public at large. Off screen disasters and dramas will be revealed and you can relive some of the most exciting discoveries.

Calisthenics incorporates a variety of skills which include dance, gymnastics and singing as well as some apparatus skills. 2009 Great Victorian Bike Ride

In 2009 it travels along the Great Ocean Road! Starting in Portland, participants ride 550 kilometres over nine days along the Great Ocean Road and through beachside and country towns. For all ages and cycling abilities this is your chance to escape to 'A week in another world.' This years marks the 26th year of the Ride and is the longest running event for Bicycle Victoria. Starting in Portland, the Ride travels out and back to Cape Bridgewater, before heading to Macarthur, down to Port Fairy, along the Great Ocean Road to Port Campbell and Apollo Bay where it stops for a rest day. A road closure gets riders from Apollo bay to Anglesea along the ocean road, then onto a final night party in Queenscliff, before finishing in Geelong for a heroes finish!
